MU rookie Leny Yoro revealed the match that convinced him to move to Old Trafford instead of listening to the call of Real Madrid’s “Galaxy”.
Facing the interest of Real Madrid, a team with great appeal in the transfer market, where most top stars dream of joining, MU finally convinced midfielder Yoro to say “No” to Bernabeu home team to move to Old Trafford. The Manchester Red Devils have the signature of the 18-year-old midfielder after spending 52 million pounds and 10 million in variables last week.
Speaking to MUTV, MU’s rookie revealed the match that made him decide to move to the giant English team: “When I witnessed MU’s victory in the FA Cup at the end of the season (against Man City ), I really wanted to stick with them because winning the title and celebrating with the fans – it was an unbelievable moment.”
Yoro previously announced that he considered former Man United star Raphael Varane a source of inspiration as well as part of his decision to move to MU. In addition, Yoro’s idol is also Rio Ferdinand, former England international and Red Devils legend. That was another reason that convinced him to sign with the most traditional team in the history of the English Premier League.
Immediately after arriving at MU, Yoro made his debut for his new team less than 24 hours after his first training session. Fans’ expectations were rewarded, when the French midfielder impressed in the match, playing the entire first half, showing composure and confidence when holding the ball. In 45 minutes on the field, Yoro touched the ball 51 times, passed 44/48 successfully, long passes were successful 4/7, tackled 100% accurately, won 100% of duels, successfully recovered the ball 2 times, Clear the danger once and block the opponent’s shot once.
